End of August I decided to go to Dahab to get some windsurfing after an awesome trip to Indonesia. My new gear arrived right in time before I left... ! And guess what: i changed my sponsors. I am now riding on JP boards and Neilpryde Sails! I am so happy with my new gear...it is simply perfect! Boards and Sails are magic!...love them!
Ok back to Dahab! Had amazing 3 weeks there. Met a lot of really good friends again and found some new. We formed to a pretty cool multiculti group this time and had an awesome time! We made some pretty cool stuff which u will hear and see about soon! Enjoyed it so much! Thanks to all of u guys!
Sailing in Dahab was as expected really good. Windy every day and perfect conditions. Used my 4,9 and 4,5 most of the time!

As last year we will have a video contest over the summer months. There are small changes in the voting system. From today the teams have time to collect footage and to cut their videos. Then it is time to upload your videos! As there is a limit of 5oomb upload per week on vimeo we ask you to create your own VIMEO account and upload your movie and send the link to us. We will publish the link on different websites! From 1st September we will count the views until the 19th September (so try to publish your video around the 1st, because you will have most views during the first days). Also send us a copy in full qualitiy of your video which will be used for the presentation in the U4! The best 5 movies will be shown in the famous U4 nightclub in Vienna and judged by the audience! So be sure to upload it in time!!! If you want to win, you have to show up at the U4! Every movie needs to have an official banner with the sponsors of the Austrian Championchip! You will get the banner per mail after your registration for the contest! It would also be great, if you upload some updates: where are you, what are you planning, ...! You will also get the necassy login name, if you register for the contest!

Warum soll ein beinahe 30 j‰hriger Freestyle ÑPensionistì weiterhin eine der geilste Segelnummer blockieren dies gibt ?
Diese Frage stelle ich mir schon lange jedoch kamen doch immer wieder Emotionen hoch. AUT 6 bedeutet f¸r mich mehr ? Es ist nicht nur eine Segelnummer ?
Hinter AUT 6 steht ein Windsurf Leben mit allen Facetten: Parties, M‰dels, geile Action, unglaubliche Reisen und last but not least: Erfolg.

Diese Contest gabs nur 2 mal: Einmal hat in Josh Stone USA 6 gewonnen und das n‰chste mal Berni Seidl AUT 6.
‹brigens war es Josh Stone der mich mit seiner USA 6 inspirierte. Stone war ein Freestyle Pionier, ein Held. Er war nicht nur ein Hingucker am Wasser, er war auch der Chef der Parties. Der Mann mit den M‰dels und dem Lifestyle. Ein Type der Windsurfer noch Charakter gegeben hat. F¸r mich war er das Vorbild, denn er hatte dieses Windsurf Leben mit all seinen Facetten. Und genau das wollte ich auch und genau das war es warum ich AUT 6 gew‰hlt und was ich mit AUT 6 gelebt habe.
‹ber die Jahre hat sich nun unser Sport gewandelt. Windsurfen entwickelte sich vom einstiegen lifestyle orientierten Funsport zum absolut Profi Sport. Training, Training, Training, Contests, Contests, Contests. Verbissene Sportler mit schlechten Vertr‰ge die weder wissen wie man feiert noch wie die M‰dels zwischen dem Schritt aussehen. Wo bleiben die Parties ?, wo sind die M‰dels ? wo ist der Style der unsere Sport einmal so ausgezeichnet hat ?
Diese Frage stelle ich mir schon lange und wenn auch du dir diese Frage stellst, dann darfst du hier weiter lesen, ansonsten pack deine Sachen zusammen geselle dich zu den gerade Beschriebenen. Da ich mittlerweile beruflich sehr engagiert bin ( www.boardshop.at ) und auch nicht mehr so aufs Wasser komme wie fr¸her, habe ich kaum mehr Zeit um die Szene zu checken. Was aber nicht heiflt, dass Windsurfen f¸r mich keine Rolle mehr spielt. Das tut es n‰mlich nach wie vor und wenn es Wind zu Zeit zulassen bin ich auch an den Seen vertreten. Denn Windsurfen ist einer der geilsten und fettesten Sportarten dies gibt.
Und jetzt bist du an der Reihe, denn: Wir brauchen einen neuen Windsurf Welt Verbesserer. Wir brauchen einen Typen der genau so gut surft wie er Feiern kann. Wir brauchen einen Charakter der den Windsurf Sport mit all seinen Facetten lebt. Einen Typen der diesen geilen Sport in vollen Z¸gen genieflt. Wir brauchen: THE NEXT AUT 6 . Einen Mann der diese Segelnummer in Ehren tr‰gt und mit ihr genau so viel erlebt wie ich es getan habe. Und zu guter letzt muss dieser Type, wenn er in Ñ Pensionì geht, den Charakter besitzen, diese Nummer an die j¸ngere Generation weiter zu vererben.
Halte AUT 6 ihn Ehren und die Ehre wird dein sein.

Long time no news on the blog! Since the last update we haven´t been windsurfing because all waters in Austria were frozen! Now we scored the first day in Podersdorf sailing on 4,7! Lorenz and Alex are going to Dahab next week and Micho and Tom to Tenerife! We are all looking forward to use boardshorts again! Come back for more updates and pics and maybe a video from there!

Today we had 2 more runs! A new chance for the riders to get a better ranking! The first "fans" arrived at the lake and were watching the heats! Tonight we will have dinner at the "Seerestaurant" in Weiden and a small Pre-Party in the Red Bull Mobile tent with Hot Bull and some other drinks! After that we will have the riders party at the famous "Martinskeller" in Podersdorf! So who wants to come don´t hesitate and join us...it will be sick!
